Pastor Donna McDowell embraces her assignment from heaven to teach, train, edify and encourage believers in spiritual maturity. As an anointed teacher of the gospel, her messages are designed to inspire people to pursue God with all diligence and to fulfill their God given destiny. Pastor Donna believes that success in ministry comes when one develops sensitivity and obedience to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Her passion for seeing the advancement of the kingdom compels her to summon saints to the place of prayer where she pours out of her spirit and effectively prays out the will of God.
Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to complete her undergraduate studies in Business Management at Georgia State University. She continued on to obtain a Master’s of Business Administration from Clark-Atlanta University. After an extended career in the Pharmaceutical Industry she made preparation to answer the call to counsel by obtaining a Master's of Marriage and Family Therapy at Richmont Graduate University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor she has successfully established her private practice, Rapha Connection Counseling Services. It is her sincere desire to help advance individuals into the healing of the soul.

It was in 1988 that Pastor Donna accepted her call to ministry. In June 2001, Pastor Donna was licensed and ordained by Bishop Keith A. Butler at Word of Faith International Christian Center in Southfield, Michigan. Pastor Donna is honored to have had the privilege to serve side by side in ministry with her husband, Pastor Lucius McDowell where she established the Agape Women of Destiny and The P.R.A.Y.E.R.S. Ministry.​
Pastor Donna is a gifted praise and worship leader and is also anointed to flow as a prophetic psalmist. In 2006, Pastor Donna released her first CD Project entitled “It’s All About You”. The CD consist of fourteen songs inspired to her by the Holy Spirit. The melodies from Heaven serve to encourage believers to place God first in their lives, to seek Holy Spirit for instruction, and to rely on the Holy Spirit for His empowerment.
